Readout

Privacy policy

For Readout: Blood Pressure Diary. Last updated November 3, 2026.

Your readings stay on this phone

Readout has no account and no server. Your readings, notes and cuff photos are saved only on this phone.

You choose what leaves it

A reading or a cuff photo leaves the phone only when you share a CSV file, a doctor report or a support email, or when you turn on Health sync.

Health sync

When you turn it on, Readout writes your blood pressure and pulse to Apple Health or Health Connect, and reads blood pressure from it. Readout uses that data only inside the app, never for ads, and never sends it anywhere.

Usage and crash reports

Readout uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics from Google. They collect which screens are used, why the app crashed and errors the app recovered from, with a device identifier and a support ID. They never receive a reading, a note or a photo.

Support emails

Contact support in Settings opens an email to support@valetech.ca, and you send it yourself. It holds the app version, the phone model, a support ID and the app's log. The log lists what the app did, such as a sync or a reminder, and never holds a reading, a note or a photo. On the scan screen you can also send the cuff photo and the numbers the scanner read. A photo leaves the phone only when you send it.

Purchases

The unlock is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Readout learns only whether the unlock is active, never your name or card.

Deleting your data

Delete a reading in History, or delete the app to remove every reading. Data already written to Apple Health or Health Connect stays there until you remove it in that app.
